Art in the High Desert 2013
Today is the last day of the Art in the High Desert show in Bend. Saturday was a beautiful day with lots of

interested visitors–and one of my favorite pieces, Green Totem, found a new home!
It’s always fun when people come into my booth and have a lively discussion over which piece is their favorite, and how it might fit into their home. Sometimes they’re drawn to the color and shape, sometimes to the texture the stitching adds to the overall composition, sometimes a combination of the two.
The Old Mill District in Bend, where the show is being held on the banks of the Deshutes River, is a lively place and a beautiful venue for an art show. It’s been a pleasure to have been part of it this year–it’s easy to see why it’s one of the top rated shows in the country.
Today’s hours are shorter–10-4–and I’d love to see you in Booth 27 if you’re in the area!
