Grisdela  The Washington Craft Show opens one week from today! Halloween and art–what could be better?

This is my first year in this prestigious national show and I’m really looking forward to it. The show opens Friday, October 31 and runs through Sunday, November 2. Hours are 10-8 Friday, 10-6 Saturday, and 11-5 Sunday.

There will be 185 artists in a variety of media exhibiting their original creations in the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in downtown Washington DC. There’s a Metro stop there at Mt. Vernon/Convention Center, as well as lots of parking. Admission is $15.

Open the link above to get all the details about the show, plus get a coupon for $1 off admission.

Artist categories include Basketry, Ceramics, Fiber–both decorative (that’s me) and wearable, Furniture, Glass, Jewelry, Leather, Metal, Mixed Media, Paper and Wood. It’s always amazing to me to see what creative people can do with simple materials–we’d love to share it with you!

I’ll be in Booth 517 and I’m looking forward to seeing you there!
