What a whirlwind two weeks it’s been! I’m back at home after back to back shows at the Baltimore Craft Show the weekend before last and the Palm Beach Fine Craft Show last weekend.

It was a little disorienting to go from snow in Baltimore to warm and sunny in Palm Beach and back to snow in Northern Virginia! But I had a great time. It was my third year doing the Baltimore show, and it was a success–despite the snow on Saturday that kept many visitors away. Eleven of my wall quilts found new homes, including Lime Stacked Boxes at left. This piece was purchased with three others to add color to a stairwell.

This was my first year doing the Palm Beach show and I enjoyed introducing art quilts in general and my work in particular to an entirely new audience. One of the pieces that went to a new home was Currents, at left. The purchaser liked how the cool colors and swirling texture stitched into the piece reminded her of water.

Today I’m working on the instructions and photos to submit a pillow project to a quilting magazine for publication this summer, then I’ll dive back into the studio to begin creating again.

And I’ll be back on the road next week to Atlanta, for the American Craft Council show there March 13-15. The show is being held in the Cobb Galleria Centre at 2 Galleria Parkway in Atlanta. Hours are 10-8 Friday, 10-6 Saturday and 11-5 Sunday. Admission is $13, but you can get tickets for 50% off by clicking here and entering the code ATL2015GUEST.

I’ll be in Booth 1210 and I’d love to see you there!
