The “Homes” exhibit is up at Keller Williams Realty in McLean. I teamed up with friend and fellow artist Jennifer Duncan to present this show of her paintings on paper and my fiber wall hangings. The show is up until September 15 and can be visited any time during business hours Monday-Friday. The office is located on Elm Street in McLean.

year, all with a home theme. At right is “Neighborhood.” The horizontal focus section has several house shapes in it and the composition reminds me of the happy differences you see driving through any neighborhood as each family personalizes their space. Dense quilting lines in the plain sections create lively texture for the piece, which is mounted on a red background and stretched over stretcher bars so it hangs on the wall with a wire like a picture.
