Treasury of Art Show This Weekend

Neighborhood, at left, was accepted into the Vienna Arts Society’s “Treasury of Art” show at the Vienna Community Center.

The show starts today, Friday November 22, and runs through Sunday afternoon, November 24. Hours are 10-9 today and Saturday and Noon-4 on Sunday.

I was excited to have my work accepted, since there wasn’t a fiber category. I entered it as “mixed media” because this piece is mounted on stretcher bars and hangs like a picture from a wire in the back.

From the entries I saw at drop off this week, it looks like a great show!
